Mileposts in D&E Trading history

1966 D&E Trading AB was founded in December by Åke Deijfen and Bernt Eliasson.

1966-1975 The office was in Handen, a garage had to serve as the warehouse. See the photographs below.

Wieland-Werke and Kerb-Konus were the first two suppliers.

1975-1985 The company moved to Södermalm in Stockholm. A two-storey warehouse and a few more employees. Below we can see the two founders on the premises.

 

1985-1999 We arrive at Sjöviksbacken on Liljeholmen, with 2000 square meters of office and warehouse space. At the new location, D&E can handle pallets and articles more rationally. During this period, we experience strong expansion with yet more new employees. Below are photographs from the office and warehouse.

1991 D&E Trading OY is founded in Helsinki, Finland.

1999 Transfer to Sätra Industrial Estate to the south of Stockholm. We now have the possibility to handle larger volumes, by forklift from our high bay warehouse, see the photograph below. There is now a row of new suppliers and we change name to The Slide Bearing Specialist.

2008 D&E Trading OY move to self owned premises in Lohja.

2009 D&E Trading is certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

2011 D&E Trading AB moves to self owned premises in Tumba. During the transfer we take a deep look at our logistic handling and makes allot of improvements.
